Let's be real, going off to Uni is terrifying. Between tuition, text book costs, meal plans, AND decorating your dorm, it's no wonder your bank account goes into anaphylactic shock every time you step into a store.
I know what your thinking, Angela...you don't even go to Uni anymore. Girl, I know... But I feel it's my duty to pass on some knowledge. I may not have been the most resourceful person in the early stages of my time at Uni, but I learned (the hard way) that being frugal is the way of life! *Warning this is a slightly text heavy post*
If you've been an avid reader of the blog, you may remember that I did this post a year or two ago about buying inexpensive brushes. WELL, two years later and I'm still incredibly cheap and refuse to splurge on makeup brushes, haha. PLUS you can find some really high quality brushes at Walgreens and other drug stores. Recently I found 3 game changers, and all for $6 each might I add.
I do this thing...... I go on all these websites spend HOURS build carts, go grab a tub of ice cream, then cry over all the lavish things I can never have haha
It's like the never ending tale of love and despair....I present to you, The Daydream Chronicles
*Fair warning, its about to be selfie central up in here*
For as long as I could remember, I've ALWAYS wanted colored eyes. My eyes are deep-deep brown, border line black. Growing up, a lot of my friends had these gorgeous icy blue eyes or vivacious green eyes!
I always knew that there were colored contacts, but I never found a company that I trusted....until I found Spooky Eyes.
I don't know about you (but I'm feeling 22 hehe..) but as soon as summer rolls around, my skin R E B E L S. I'm talking pools of sweat and pots of grease all up on my face. It's so disgusting. So, I make it a point to give extra extra EXTRA attention to my skincare routine.
This being said, I'm always on the look out for something to help clean out my pores and just help me get rid of the excess dirt and dead skin. Enter this Korean gem!
First and foremost, let me just apologize. I know I said I was going to be taking blogging seriously in 2015, but you know....life happens...and it happens fast....annnd sometimes it completely blind sides you. That's kind of what happen to me. I went through a lot of changes and a pretty emotional roller coaster. But more about that later.
♡♡♡
The other day while I was out on my daily Starbucks run, I saw the most fascinating thing. At first I thought it was just a phone case, but then I picked it up....
Seriously, this year has FLOWN by. I can't believe that in just a few weeks, it'll be 2015. 2014 was an incredible year though. I learned a lot, and not just about life or a new job, but I learned a lot about myself. I learned how to love myself and how to be thankful for everything I have right in front of me, but of course I didn't do it alone. There's no way I could have. Let's play catch up/look back at everything 2014 had to offer xoxo
